Grinding mill

European trapezium mill

A trapezium roller mill that draws on proven European grinding design — bevel-gear drive, internal thin-oil lubrication and a curved air channel for steady airflow. A versatile mid-fine mill across a wide range of non-metallic minerals, and the natural replacement for traditional Raymond and pendulum mills.

European trapezium mill
Overview

What it does and where it fits

The European trapezium mill grinds material between trapezium-profile rollers and a grinding ring, with the finished powder carried up to a classifier and on to collection. A bevel-gear direct drive keeps the transmission compact, an internal thin-oil system lubricates the main bearings, and the curved air channel cuts airflow loss for higher grinding efficiency. It configures readily into a full system with feeder, classifier, collector and control cabinet.

  • Bevel-gear direct drive — compact transmission and smooth running.
  • Internal thin-oil lubrication for the main bearings — simpler upkeep.
  • Curved (arc) air channel reduces airflow loss and lifts grinding efficiency.
  • Configures into a full system with feeder, classifier, collector and control cabinet.
Technical advantages

What sets it apart — point by point

01

Mature and stable equipment

Built on decades of mill manufacturing experience across four generations of grinding mills — proven in the field.

02

Advanced transmission

Super-power bevel-gear integral transmission for compact, smooth and high-torque running.

03

Thin-oil lubrication of transmission

Both the main shaft and blower driving systems are thin-oil lubricated, with an oil-change interval of around four months — low cost and low maintenance frequency.

04

High blower configuration

The blower also adopts thin-oil lubrication with around four months between oil changes.

05

Variable-frequency separator, higher precision

A new hanging cage-type powder separator with variable-frequency drive gives finer control of finished powder fineness.

06

Leading technology, low running cost

Derived from the latest European grinding technology with multiple patents. High efficiency and low running cost — the leading equipment in the pendulum mill industry.

07

Multiple functions, economical investment

Grinds a variety of minerals to meet many specification and particle-size needs. Low infrastructure cost and economical investment.

08

High efficiency and large capacity

Single-machine processing capacity up to 60 t/h, breaking through the capacity bottleneck of traditional pendulum mills.

09

Integrated comprehensive solution

Proprietary experimental devices support an integrated solution covering design, supply, construction and service.

10

Energy saving and environmental protection

Certified to national environmental protection standards for industrial products.

How it works

Material in, finished powder out — the running flow

01

Crushing

Raw material is crushed by a jaw crusher to the required feed size before entering the mill.

02

Feeding

Crushed material is lifted into the hopper and metered evenly and continuously into the grinding chamber by an electromagnetic vibrating feeder.

03

Ring & roller grinding

Inside the chamber, the trapezium-profile rollers and grinding ring crush the feed into powder; the curved air channel carries ground powder upward.

04

Classifying

The variable-frequency cage separator classifies the rising powder; on-spec fines pass through while coarse particles fall back for regrinding.

05

Collection

Finished powder enters the cyclone collector and drops to the discharge; exhaust air is cleaned by a pulse dust collector before release.

Applications
